One thing that can make it easier, is getting a tortilla press😊 you don’t have to roll it or cut it. it shapes it for you in a circle.

January 31st, 2021 at 2:50 pm
Just tried it! It was good but a little too rich, it tasted like eating a taco made from cornbread/pancake tortilla
January 31st, 2021 at 3:09 pm

Are the carb balance tortillas by mission considered keto?
January 31st, 2021 at 4:37 pm
Mines came out not as soft, and were ready to crumble apart or crack in half when I folded…idk maybe it’s the brand of almond flour I used which is from Walmart! 😩😭 Question, should I add more xanthan gum? Or it is something I’m just not doing right, although I followed the recipe to the T!

February 1st, 2021 at 7:05 am
Made my own recipe using this one as a base with the following:
1 tablespoon of butter
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 tablespoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
(I didn't have basil but had Italian Seasoning instead, which had Basil, along with Rosemary, Thyme, etc)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
Mix all the following in a pot, used a whisk to help break apart the chunks. Instead of raw shrimp, I already had a pound of the small shrimp from Wal-Mart that was precook. Threw it into a bowl of water until defrosted and threw it into the sauce.
Instead of kale, I had a bag of frozen broccoli. Threw that into a bowl of water too until defrosted and added it to the pot. Mixed it all together and brought it back up to a steam (not boil).
It was delicious! So damn good~
