If Keto is so healthy, why did the Ice Man "Otzi" who ate a keto diet have such terrible atherosclerosis at such a young age?
December 20th, 2020 at 7:34 pm
If everyone went on keto the food companys would go broke. Medical costs would go down. But this is not what they want to happen. So they just continue to lie to to public. Poor health is a money maker. Now they don't have enough of our money the want universal health care to get richer. The public allows this to happen.

My triglycerides level has gone down from 116mg/dL to 64mg/dL and HDL , LDL went up…worry about it and found this post. Maybe I am healthier.

I cannot thank you enough for the breakdown in this vital information. I have been recently given a high LDL reading and Iโm exploring how I can better understand my risk (or not) and avoid being prescribed a statin if possible.

why are MOST other doctors denying this evidence why are most doctors hell bent on getting every one on STATINS and eating low fat foods and counting calories WHY ??

Legend! Thank you! My gp called me after my bloods returned freaking out my ldl and cholesterol was high. Funny thing is I am leaner and healthier now that my ldl is higher than 2-4 years back when I was overweight, lethargic and on a low fat med carb diet.

Very well explained. When others have an opinion and don't explain how things work in simple terms, it indicates their own lack of knowledge or agenda, and shields their opinion from scrutiny. The same tactic worked to buffalo people into the Food Guide Pyramid and indoctrinated medical students. Thank God for critical thinkers like Robert Atkins who started out with, "There is something wrong with this picture". Thank God for people like Paul Mason who researched and refined the science that explains why this is so, and enabled him to refine protocols for good health. There are many other unnamed heroes who supplied the in vivo tests over large studies.

At present, most doctors are working according to instructions, especially in developing nations. This is a good video to watch and understand what is actually happening in our body. Thanks!

As someone not in the medical or scientific community, I find Dr Paul Mason makes all this information so much more accessible and understandable than anyone else I've listened to on these subjects! He's a fantastic presenter!

I learned from a naturopathic doctor seminar that people that consume too much calcium and not enough vitamin k end up not channelling the calcium into the right locations and this doctor said this calcium build up in the wrong place can end up in arteries…its due to less grass fed animals and less greens or lack of…which many of us are id think for sure not getting enough greens and usually more dairy so I'm guessing a lot of heart issues can also be brought on by this issue as apposed to cholesterol build up…something to also focus on!!been keto 2 years first six to eight months cholesterol went down now I'm carb cycling healthy carbs and it's gone up…I have two months to get it lower or doc is gojng to push me on statin…I'm not gojng to…I'm almost off Ramopril for high blood pressure and it's even dipping low now….on two years on keto!Lost 120 less Apnea outcomes almost off Ramopril and can go almost five days fasting after id been unable to go two to four hours only without eating id feel so very sick…even on vegetarian and what I thought was a super healthy mass veggie n fruit diet!!Had to share my story….thank you for your video

Despite all this well-informed hand-waving about the intricate details of LDL, the truth remains that the physiologically normal level of LDL for humans appears to be more like 35-70. Also, the degree of plaque formation declines steadily as plain old LDL levels drop from 90 to 80 to 70, and that arterial plaque stops forming for the average person at around LDL = 67. Furthermore, as LDL is pushed lower and lower, you get fewer and fewer heart attacks and strokes. Finally, despite all this demonizing of "carbs," whole foods carbs are super healthy and improve longevity, and the best results for stopping and healing heart disease have been achieved on diets with 70% or more from WHOLE food carbs.

What about other causes of oxidative stress like smoking, pollution, insomnia etc. Is glycation the only cause of LDL damage?
December 21st, 2020 at 2:18 am
I follow Keto diet with Intermittent Fasting..and the numbers of my LDL & Uric Acid are skyrocketing!!๐ฑ๐ฑ

How to remove highly oxidized ldl out of blood?
December 21st, 2020 at 3:26 am
What about triglycerides? You did not mention them at all. The body reacts not just on one component (LDL). There is multisystem processes.
No family history hypertriglyceridemia, went on Leto diet for 8 weeks, and triglyceride levels were 30% higher than normal .
